Borzu Sohrab is the Principal Consultant at Crescent Biomedical with a focus on supporting due diligence, product realization, business and technology partnerships. He is an experienced leader recognized for his analytical skills and integrated approach to technology and product development. He has led large and small cross-functional teams and been responsible for multiple product launches in the point of care, drug delivery, endovascular, and life support markets at both medical device companies and contract manufacturers.
He has a keen sense of identifying and articulating risks and opportunities in product commercialization and is able to integrate the technical, market, regulatory and business factors to ensure the successful transition of an innovative technology to a product that gains market adoption.

He holds a MS degree in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, BS in Electrical Engineering, and BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport, in Connecticut. He is the inventor of multiple issued patents in point of care systems.
